When your family and friends live far away from you, there is no way to often communicate with each other. But there is internet, so you can send emails and show new photos. ICQ is a program that allows you to exchange information on the network, including sending photos to friends.
Necessary

Instructions
Step 1
Log in to the messenger. Wait for your friends list to appear.
Step 2
Go to the "Settings" item. It is located near the main ICQ menu or in a dialog box with one of the friends' contacts from the list. Find the column titled "Other Settings" => "Data Transfer".
Step 3
Find out from which users you want to receive incoming information without asking for permission to do this. Click on the name and then click OK. In the window that appears, select a folder to save the files. Inbox from a friend should be saved in a separate file.
Step 4
Make sure that the interlocutor has configured ICQ so that they receive incoming messages from you. These include photos, videos, music, films.
Step 5
Select the person to whom you would like to send your photos via ICQ or other files. Open a message dialog and write an intent to send some information.
Step 6
Click on the data transfer window. The address bar will open, in which you need to set the path to the photo on your computer. To do this, select the folder where your photo is located and the drive. Click on the name of the photo and click "Submit".
Step 7
Invite a friend to accept your file. The interlocutor should be prompted to receive data. A friend must confirm the connection between your accounts. After that, the photo will start downloading to his PC.
Step 8
Please note that the message should not be interrupted between accounts. In this case, you cannot turn off the Internet connection until the file is completely downloaded.
