Hacking and theft of accounts on the VKontakte social network is a fairly common phenomenon. In this case, the rightful owner may lose the ability to enter his profile using his username and password. There is a certain algorithm for restoring access to the page.
Instructions
Step 1
Pay attention to how the site behaves when you try to log into your account. If a message appears on the screen asking you to send a message to a short number, it means that you have become a victim of scammers. Even if it is written on the screen that such a page unblocking is a function of the site administration, this is a deception. If you still send an SMS to the specified number, a fairly large amount of funds will be debited from your account, and there is no guarantee that access will be restored.
Step 2
Change to the following directory on your computer: C: / WINDOWS / system32 / drivers / etc and use Notepad or WordPad to open the hosts file. Delete all of its contents, then check the "Read only" checkbox. Save the file and restart your computer. After that, the fraudulent message upon entering the site should stop bothering you.
Step 3
Restore access to your account using the standard procedure on the VKontakte website. Click "Forgot your password?" and indicate in the field that appears your mobile phone number or e-mail to which the page was registered. If you cannot do this, for example, do not remember the data, select the appropriate item below.
Step 4
Follow the instructions that appear on the screen. Enter the URL of the page you want to return. Then enter your current and previous phone numbers and email addresses. Enter the previous password with which you previously entered the page. This information can only be known to the current owner of the page, therefore it must be entered. If you cannot remember any of the data, leave the field blank. Complete the recovery procedure, upon completion of which a temporary password will be generated for you to log into your account.
