Step 1
Situations when the home page has changed in the browser are quite common. This usually happens after installing any additional programs for working on the Internet. However, independent changes are not uncommon and for no apparent reason.

It is not difficult to return the previous page for the search engine. The main thing is to know the address of the required page. It can be copied by opening one of the saved bookmarks, or manually entered in a special window.

Well, now a little more about this. All operations with the browser and its parameters are carried out by going to the settings menu. Here, by selecting the desired section, you can set the indicators necessary for working on the Internet.

In Google Chrome, to do this, on the toolbar, find the icon representing a wrench. Click on it and in the drop-down window select "Settings". Or, for a quick transition, you can enter the following combination into the address bar: chrome: // settings / browser. In this section, the user can set any parameters. But in this case, we are talking about the home or home page. The first window that opens after clicking is the section with the basic settings. Take a close look at the page and in the first paragraph - "Start Group" - put a checkmark in the line "Home". Just below, enter in the empty field the address of the page that you want to see when the browser loads.

There is another section below. In it, you can set which page will open as the main page: the quick access page offered by the browser, or the next one. That is, the one whose address will be indicated in the field opposite the inscription "Next page". Check the box next to this item and add the address.

If necessary, in the same window, but one item below, in the "Search" section, indicate the preferred search engine. The list of available search engines will open after clicking on the button with the name of the search engine in the drop-down window, then close the tab with the settings and restart the browser.

In CometBird find on the toolbar click on the "Tools" button. Then select the "Settings" section and on the next page in the "General" subdirectory set the desired home page as the home page by entering the address you need opposite the "Home page" line. Or use one of the options: use the current page, the address of which is specified in the field, add from bookmarks or set defaults. In the top line "When starting CometBird" specify which page should be opened when starting the browser: home page, blank page, or windows and tabs opened last time.

Everything is extremely easy to configure in Mozilla Firefox. Select on the top panel "Tools", then - "Settings", in the next window open the section "General" and in the line "Home page" specify its address. You can enter it manually or select one of the options offered: use the current page, use a bookmark, or restore to default. If you want to use one of your saved bookmarks as home, select the middle button and select the location of the desired bookmark. Click on it and add it to the line for the main page of the browser.
Step 9
In Opera, click on the top browser icon, open "Settings", then - "General settings" and in the line "Home" write the address of the desired page. Click “OK” to save the settings.
Step 10
In Internet Explorer, the transition to the settings is carried out by clicking on the gear icon. Select "Internet Options" and in the line "Home page" specify the desired address.
