The Windows operating system was originally designed for multiple users. In order to save the parameters of a specific user, it is necessary to create individual accounts for each of them. And if necessary, they can be turned off.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the "Start" menu and go to the "Control Panel" (or use the shortcut on the desktop). In the "Control Panel" open the "User Accounts" service, which is used to manage and configure accounts in the "Windows" operating system. In the window of this service, all user accounts of this operating system are displayed.
Step 2
Select the user account you want to disable and click on its icon. This will open your account settings. To disconnect a user account, click on the "Delete account" link.
Step 3
Then select the action to be performed with the files of the deleted account. This data can be saved as administrator account files, or completely deleted from the computer. After selecting the required action, confirm the deletion of the user account.
Step 4
If you need to leave only one user account on the computer, then also disable the account called "Guest". This account is used to log in with the most limited rights. In order to disable this account, open the "User Accounts" service, click the button labeled "Guest" in it and select the "Disable Guest Account" command.
Step 5
Now, when you turn on the computer, the choice of a login account will not be presented. Please note that the Guest account is disabled only temporarily and is not completely deleted. If you wish, you can turn it back on by following a similar sequence of actions.
