Entering a search query and getting the information you need is the ideal form of interaction between an Internet user and a search engine. However, often Google, Yandex or another search engine does not return what we are looking for. The reason is in the wrong formulation of requests. Any tool, even one as simple as searching the Internet, must be used competently, namely, to take into account the logic and rules of the global network.
What is a correct query
A correct query is considered if the search engine understands it. She does not know how to read our thoughts and acts exceptionally logically and according to carefully worked out algorithms. Therefore, first of all, the request must contain several words. At the same time, the system perceives nouns better than verbs. Therefore, the query "repair the vacuum cleaner" will show more useful results of sites than "repair the vacuum cleaner". By the way, the query "repair vacuum cleaner" will also be considered correct, since search engines do not take into account declensions, cases and numbers.
As part of writing the correct search query, it is recommended that you use at least two successful search tools: advanced search and query language.
Advanced Search
Advanced search allows you to find the information you need with the indication of various parameters: the search region, the URL of the site or section of the site, the location of words (anywhere or in the title), the form of words (in any form or exactly as specified in the request), the format of the material you are looking for (html, pdf, rtf, doc, swf, xls, ppt, docx, odt, etc.). You can use Yandex advanced search at this link: https://yandex.ru/search/advanced?&lr=35, Google -
Query language
You can control the search and make queries as accurate and understandable as possible for the search engine using a query language containing special commands or so-called operators. For example, the plus (+) operator before a mandatory query word eliminates unnecessary variations in the output. Let's say we enter “Terminator I” in the search, and in the search results we get information about “Terminator I”, and about “Terminator II”, and about “Terminator III”. If you enter "Terminator + I", information about other parts of the movie will disappear from the search results. There is also the "minus" operator, which allows you to clear the result of the issue of unnecessary links off topic. This is a useful feature when a keyword has multiple meanings. For example, when the query "key making - treble - nut", information about the manufacture of door keys will be displayed.
There are more complex commands in the query language. For example, the request mime: pdf summer lang: ru will display in Yandex pdf files containing the word “summer”.

How Google jokes
There is a Barrel roll trick in the Star Fox video games, and it's very difficult to figure out how to do it. When the number of Google searches for How to do a barrel roll went off the scale, the search engine came up with a joke. If you enter the phrase Do a barrel roll in the Google search bar, then in most browsers the page will turn 360 degrees.
