A YouTube user who has watched the video they just uploaded may be disappointed with the quality. Fortunately, this clip can be improved by using the editor, service view settings, or tags.

Instructions
Step 1
To get a clip that would look nice enough in a standard YouTube player window, you should upload an initially high-quality video. However, the video editor of the service can cope with some of the shortcomings of the original video. To edit the uploaded clip, log into your account and select the "Video Manager" option from the drop-down list under the username in the upper right corner of the window.
Step 2
On the page that opens, select a video, the quality of which does not quite suit you. Click on the arrow on the right side of the "Edit" button and apply the "Enhance Video" option.
Step 3
In the editor window that opens, apply the necessary correction by clicking on the corresponding button. The service allows you to lighten the video, change its contrast, color saturation. The result of the change can be seen in the right half of the window.
Step 4
A clip captured with a tilted camera can be rotated ninety degrees to either side. To do this, click on the button with the arrow pointing in the desired direction.
Step 5
YouTube editor allows you to stabilize shaky videos. To take advantage of this opportunity, click on the "Stabilization" button. However, as a result of using this option, the edges of the picture will be cropped.
Step 6
To improve the clip, you can use the "I'm Lucky" button, allowing the editor to calculate what changes your video needs. To save the correction, click on the "Save" or "Save As" button.
Step 7
You can visually improve a clip loaded in high quality by inserting an additional tag. Switch to the video manager mode and click on the "Change" button located to the right of the video you are interested in.
Step 8
In the Info and Settings window, find the Tags field and insert the tag yt: quality = high into it. Click on the "Save" button located in the lower right corner of the window. A clip edited in this way will play back with the highest quality available.
Step 9
To change the viewing quality of videos uploaded by other YouTube users, go to your account settings by selecting the "Settings" option from the drop-down menu below your username. Click on the "Playback" tab and select the "Always choose the best quality" option. If necessary, check the box to enable high-definition video playback in full screen mode. To save the new account settings, click on the "Save" button.
