Stretching the background on a web page is not easy. A little trick will help here. First, two layers are formed - for the image and the page content. And then the positioning of each of them is determined. The layer with the picture is stretched to 100% of the page size, and its upper left corner is assigned as the zero point of the report. After merging the layers, the page takes on a completely different look.

Instructions
Step 1
Using the tag, shape two layers - layer1 and layer2. On one of them, the lower one, the picture will be located, on the other, the upper one, the content of the web page.
Step 2
Determine the order of the layers using the z-index style attribute. Note that the higher the value of the specified parameter, the higher the currently available layer will be in relation to other layers. Set absolute positioning for each layer you create.
Step 3
Set layer1 to 100% width and height. Set the coordinates of the upper left corner to the initial, zero. This will help get rid of the horizontal scroll bar.
Step 4
Merge the layers.
