Content management system Ucoz offers its users a wide selection of standard background templates, consisting of 246 units. However, not always even such an amount can satisfy all tastes of people, therefore in this system there is the possibility of replacing the background with your own.
Instructions
Step 1
You can create a background for your site yourself, which will take a lot of time, or you can change an existing one. To go the second, easier way, go to the "Page Editor" and select the "General Settings" option. Opposite the "Site Design" item, click on the "Select Design" button. In the window that appears, find the template that suits you best and open it. Now you need to edit the original website design. But first, remember one important thing: the images that make up the background are written in css or html.
Step 2
If the pictures are registered in the first version, then in the top panel find "Design", then go to the section "Design Management (СSS)". In the resulting window below, you will see the contents of the template. Now you need to find the line that contains the entry: #header {background: url (‘/ ee.jpg’) no-repeat; height: 182px;. This code is the address of the header of your site. There, find the address of the picture itself. They are located in different places in different templates. If the pictures are written in Html, then select "Design Management (Templates)". In the resulting window, just below, click on the line "Top of the site" and find the following line: td height =”193 ″ width =” 698 ″ style =”background: url ('/. S / t / 341 / 7.jpg
Step 3
Now, to find the required image, go to an address of the form: "site address / image address from the template". Next, you need to create a website header. If your picture is going to be different from the original size, you will have to adjust the size of the image in the template or style file. After drawing or optimizing the image, save the header to the directory using the site's file manager. After that, change the address of the current picture to the address of the created one. Save and check the result. Do the same with the rest of the site design images. You can also create your own new design for the entire page and link it to the site.
