CMS Ucoz is currently the most popular content management system among webmasters due to its functionality and the variety of available templates. However, newcomers to site building often have a desire to change the standard design, in particular, to edit the header, which is most visible to users. Therefore, it is very important that the site header looks impressive and original.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the control panel using the "admin bar". If images are in CCS, select Design from the top bar and then CCS Design Management. Then the style file will appear in the lower window. Find the site header address in it, it will look like this: #header {background: url (‘/ ee.jpg’) no-repeat; height: 182px; ……}. Different templates have a different type of header address, so see which image will relate to what.
Step 2
If the images are written in an HTML template, select the "Design" tab in the same top panel, then click on the "Manage design for templates" option. The bottom window will offer you options - choose "Top of Website". Find a line like this: td height =”193 ″ width =” 698 ″ style =”background: url (’ /. S / t / 341 / 7.jpg
Step 3
Now prepare a new hat. Do not forget that in the event that it will have different dimensions compared to the original, or you need to define a different location for it, you need to correct these points in the template or in the CSS stylesheet. It is better to initially know the dimensions of your image and make a new header using the same parameters. Trim the graphic file into pieces if necessary. Save the new header in the root directory using the file manager.
Step 4
When saving the file, call it such a name that will contain only Latin letters. Also use numbers, but never use Cyrillic. This will have negative consequences. Now change the address of the image to a new one, save the changes again and check the resulting design.
