To the additional possibilities of using the anvil is the "enchanting" function, which gives weapons, tools or armor additional possibilities. To "enchant" a thing in an anvil, you need:
1. Make a simple book out of cow leather and sheets of paper.
2. The book should be "enchanted" using the "enchanting" table.
3. Find previously lapis lazuli, click on the "enchanting" table and put the stone in the lower window, and place the book in the upper one.
4. Select the "enchant" option and click on the button with the white arrow. You will receive an enchanted book.
Return to the anvil, put in the first window the item that you will enchant. There should be an enchanted book in the second window. In the third window, your item, endowed with the "enchanting" function, will automatically appear. Do not forget that by creating a new "enchanted" item, the book will disappear.

In the anvil, you can also rename items. For example, take any thing, place it in the first window of the anvil. The name of the item will appear on the top line.
Click on the line and enter a new name. To do this, you only need 1 part of the experience. As a result, an item with a new name will appear in the third window, which will remain until you rename it again.
