The home page always opens very first when you start your internet browser. And for convenience, you can make your favorite or most frequently visited site your home page.
Instructions
Step 1
Customize your home page in one of two ways. In the first way, this can be done directly from the page of the site that you want to see as the start page. Most often, the link you need is located on the main page of the site and is displayed in the form of a house or the inscriptions "Make it home", "Make it home". Follow the link and follow the setup instructions clearly. After that, the selected site will become the home page.
Step 2
Make the site your home page by manually configuring your internet browser. If you are using Mozilla Firefox, find the "Tools" tab on the top bar, click on it and select "Options" from the drop-down list. A window with bookmarks will open. Click on "General" and select "Show home page" when starting the browser. In the active line, enter the site address and click "OK".
Step 3
If you are using Internet Explorer, take a look at the top bar and click on the Tools tab. Select "Internet Options" from the sections that appear. In the tabbed window, click on "General". A menu will open, of all the proposed items of which you need to select "At startup" and click on the line "Start from home page". Enter the site url in the address bar and click on the "Ok" button.
Step 4
If you use the Internet browser Opera, launch it and click on the button located in the upper left corner. In the drop-down menu, select the line "Settings", and then "General settings". In the General tab, specify how the browser should proceed at startup and select Start from home page. In the line below, enter the site address and click on the "Ok" button.
Step 5
If you use Google Chrome to browse the Internet, click on the wrench image in the upper right corner. Select the "Options" line and open the "General" tab. Put a full stop in front of the "Open this page" item and enter the site address in the appropriate field. Restart your browser.
