Wordpress is by far one of the most popular systems for creating a website. This CMS has a fairly wide functionality and will cope with the creation of resources of varying complexity. The program has an intuitive interface, and therefore even a beginner can quickly get used to it - all you need to do is learn how to create and modify resource pages.
Instructions
Step 1
The WordPress homepage is where all the latest posts and announcements are posted. It appears first of all when a user accesses an Internet resource, and therefore must be edited immediately after installation.
Step 2
Go to your Wordpress admin panel. To do this, enter the address https:// your_site / administrator in the browser window. After that, enter the login and password for the panel, which were set during the installation of the engine.

After switching to the administrator account, select "Pages" - "Add page" to create a new master page for the resource. Enter the required text to be displayed on the main page, insert the desired images. After making all the settings to save the changes, click the "Publish" button. You can create an unlimited number of elements and edit them according to your requirements.
Step 4
You can use various Wordpress editor tools to edit elements. So, you can insert an image using the "Add Image" button. When you select this item, you can select a file both from your computer and indicate the address of the required image on the Internet. If necessary, you can insert a block of HTML code by selecting the appropriate HTML tab and entering the required tags. You can also configure the ability to comment, add backlinks and create notifications about new posts. In the Attributes section, you can choose a template to integrate various Wordpress widgets.
Step 5
After completing the addition, go to the "Settings" - "Reading" section of the site control panel. Wait for the next section with settings to load. In the field "Reading Settings" - "Home Page" select the name of the page that you have created to use as the main page. Do not forget to put a period in front of the "Permanent page" item to activate the settings. After that click "Save Changes".
