Step 1
To get started, find a set of additional emoticons and download it on the Internet. To do this, enter "additional smilies for ICQ" in the field of any search engine. Download the archive. Save it to your computer.
Step 2
Open the archive. As a rule, downloaded programs go to the Downloads folder, which can be stored in My Documents. From the archive menu, select Extract Files. In the new window, select the folder where you want to place the new smiley files. By default, the extraction will occur next to the archive.
Step 3
Close the archive window. Find the installer among the extracted files. Extending it to "exe". Installation starts. Select the folder where you want to install additional emoticons. By default, this is a folder with standard emoticons. You also need it. Confirm your choice. Follow the installation process to the end. Wait for it to complete.
Step 4
Run the ICQ program. Now, if you did everything correctly, new ones should appear in the window along with the old standard emoticons.
