Ucoz is a fairly popular website building platform lately. The main advantage of this system is its simplicity and flexibility, which allows you to significantly expand the capabilities of your network project. And one of the tools for such an extension is the use of scripts.
Instructions
Step 1
To install the script on the site of the Ucoz system, you will need access to the resource control panel. For this purpose, use a file manager. In the file manager, go to the desired folder, while sequentially clicking on the links located in the "Name" column. After that, press the button named "Browse", which is placed under the table. A dialog box will open. Find the script file in it and activate the "Open" button. Then click on the "Upload File" tab.
Step 2
In the event that you have access to the server via ftp-protocol, then you can put the script on Ucoz in another way. To do this, download a special program - ftp-client (for example, Total Commander). Enter the ftp server address, username, password and wait for the connection to be established. After that, find the file you need containing the script. It is usually found in the left pane. Using the directory tree in the right pane, navigate to the folder you need, but already on the server. Then double click or drag and drop the script. The application you selected will automatically move to the location you specified.
Step 3
You can also do without moving the file from your local computer. To do this, use the option called "create a file on the server". Do all the necessary steps using the file manager. A form will appear in the browser, the fields of which you will have to fill out. There you will also see an input field in which you will enter data about the required file. To complete the operation, open the original script file on your computer. Select and then copy and paste all lines of code into the field of the form that opens in the browser. Be sure to correctly specify the extension of the file being created. Otherwise, the server software will not recognize the script.
