Step 1

Set up your main computer. This does not require anything supernatural. Your internet connection settings remain standard, except that you need to share it with a second PC. Go to the properties of the Internet connection, go to the "Access" tab and check the box "Allow other network users to use this computer's Internet connection."

Step 2

Connect two computers to each other using a network cable. Open the properties of the new LAN on the host computer. This can be done by sequentially opening the "Network and Sharing Center", "Change adapter settings". Go to the item "Internet Protocol TCP / IPv4. In the "IP address" field, enter 192.168.0.1, in the "subnet mask" field, leave the default value 255.255.255.0.

Step 3

Open the properties of the local network on the second computer. Go to “Internet Protocol TCP / IPv4. Fill in the fields as follows:

IP address: 192.168.0.2

Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

Default gateway: 192.168.0.1

Preferred DNS Server: 192.168.0.1

Please note that to access the Internet from a second computer, the first computer must be turned on, and the Internet connection of the first computer must be active.
