Almost any information is available on the Internet. This or that web page, which is a link, is tied to a specific address. To use the resources, you need to define the links to the site.
Instructions
Step 1
Any resource, be it a picture, music or text, is located on a specific site. If you see a link by clicking on it, you will in any case be taken to a page of some site. Links are displayed in two forms - a hyperlink (specially selected text, when you hover over which, the cursor changes its shape) and the full address of the page. In the first case, you just need to click on the inscription to get to the page you are interested in. In the second case, you need to copy the address and paste it into the address bar of your browser, then press Enter. After a while, the desired web page will be displayed in the browser window, provided that the address was entered correctly.
Step 2
A hyperlink can be anchored to an image. There can be three options here: when you click on the picture, you are taken to the site; when you click on the picture, you are taken to a page where the image is displayed in full; when you click on the picture, you are taken to the file download page. In all three options, you will be taken to a certain section of a site, but the last option can pose a potential danger, since you can download a virus program.
Step 3
If you need to download software or an update to a program, use the settings or the help menu, which usually indicates the version of the program and the manufacturer. Links to the site of the program developers can also be located there. If you do not find them, use search engines, for example, Rambler, Google, Yandex, etc. Enter the required query in the dialog box and wait for the results to be displayed. Actually the result of the search, this is the list of links to the site, among which find the one that interests you.
Step 4
When you are on a certain site and want to save a link to it, click on the address bar of your browser. The address will be automatically selected in full, press Ctrl + C or in the context menu, invoked by pressing the right mouse button, select "Copy". Then create a separate text document and paste the information from the clipboard.
