Often there are situations when, for whatever reason, you decide to sell to another person one of your domains that have existed for quite a long time, are well indexed by search engines and have good TIC and PR indicators. But using only the registrar's website, it is impossible to carry out the procedure for transferring domain name management rights in the RU, SU or RF zone. To re-register such a name, you need to perform several steps.
It is necessary

- - a photocopy of the future domain owner's passport.
Instructions
Step 1
If you want to transfer management rights to a domain, first write a letter of desire to opt out of domain name administration to your registrar's name. In the upper right corner of the document, specify the name of the CEO of the organization serving the domain as the recipient.
Step 2
Please write the sender of the letter below. To do this, mark your full name, date of birth, series, number, date and place of issue of the passport, as well as your registration address.
Step 3
Further, under the heading "Application" write that you are asking to transfer the rights to administer the domain to a new administrator, be sure to indicate his full name, series, number, place and date of issue of the passport.
Step 4
If other domains of the future owner are served by your registrar, mark also his contract number with the company. Complete the letter by leaving a signature space and date.
Step 5
Then write a second letter of agreement to accept the domain name when changing ownership on behalf of the future domain administrator. To do this, write a similar header in the upper right corner of the sheet, replacing your own data with the details of the new owner.
Step 6
Then, under the "Application" label, make a request to register the domain on behalf of the new administrator, indicating his full name. Also, do not forget to indicate that the domain name will be transferred from the current administrator, where mark your full name.
Step 7
At the end of the application, write what data should be used to replace the information on the registrar's website about the phone number and e-mail address of the domain owner. Do not forget to leave space for a signature and date.
Step 8
Print out the papers and sign your own signature on the first letter. Meet with the future domain owner to sign the second paper and give you a photocopy of his passport.
Step 9
After that, come with two letters, your own passport and a photocopy of the passport of the future administrator to the nearest registrar's office, or after confirming the signature on the first letter with a notary, send the papers by regular mail to the address of the company serving the domain.
