To get feedback from visitors to the site (portal), you need to create a certain platform for communication. Chat is the most suitable option for this task.
Instructions
Step 1
Analyze the ways to install chat on the site. There are three of them. For the first option, you need to have a site that is located on the CMS platform. Such sites almost always have plugins and modules that allow extending portal services. An example of such a program can be "Joomla" - a fairly popular CMS for creating a website on the Internet.
Step 2
Download the extended chat module to your computer from the official resource of the "Joomla" program. It is completely free. Go to the site admin panel, find the "Extensions and Modules Manager" menu. Click once on the chat archive and click on the "Unpack and install" function. Everything will be installed automatically. This was the first method.
Step 3
Download the application of the chat you like best. Unzip it on your desktop. You are now ready to host the chat in the second way. It is good because it is universal for both php sites and CMS sites. So, copy the chat folder to the root section of the resource and open the site management.
Step 4
Place the php file to install the chat into the address of the browser line. You will see a window open to complete the operation. Now create a special MySQL database for your chat. After all these steps, complete the installation by following all the instructions given.
Step 5
Use the third method of setting up a chat, if the previous two do not suit you. In this case, you need a site script. You can either download it from the Internet, or write it yourself, or ask to make it to order. As soon as you have the script, open the main page of the site where you want to insert the chat. Move the contents of the script to the place where you want to see it. After that it will work.
