Domain is one of the main assets of any web resource. A beautiful and short domain name is valuable in itself. Sometimes, for example, due to the sale of the site or the name itself, you may need to re-register the domain.
It is necessary
- - access to the domain control panel;
- - the possibility of notarization of the signature (when reissuing.ru,.рф,.su).
Instructions
Step 1
Re-register the domain by transferring it to another account of the current registrar. This operation is called push. It can be done on most foreign registration services. It is available for all international (gTLD) and many geographic (ccTLD) domains.
Step 2
Find out the ID or login (which is often the email address) of the user account that is hosting the domain. Log in to the control panel on the registrar's website. Remove the domain lock, if installed. Disable the privacy protection service. Select the option to transfer services to another account. Enter the identifier you received earlier. Transfer the domain. The transfer will be done instantly.
Step 3
Transfer the domain to another administrator with a change of registrar. For international and many geographic (this does not include.ru,.su,.рф) domains, the procedure for transferring under the control of another registrar (transfer) is quite simple.
Step 4
Log in to the control panel. Request a security code. Forward it to the person receiving the domain. He will have to activate the transfer through his control panel by entering this code. An email notification will be sent to your address with a link to cancel the transfer. If you don't use it, the transfer will take place in a few days. In this case, the blocking of the domain must be removed.
Step 5
Transfer domains in.ru,.рф,.su zones to another administrator without changing the registrar. Write a letter in the prescribed form (the template can be downloaded on the website of a specific service) that you are transferring the rights to administer the domain to the specified person. Notarize the signature on it and send it to the registrar. The person who assumes the rights to the domain should do the same.
Step 6
Re-register the domain in the.ru,.рф or.su zone to another administrator with a change of registrar. As follows from the "Domain Name Registration Rules" approved by the Coordination Center for the national domain of the Internet on December 11, 2011, the change of the domain registrar is possible no earlier than 30 days after the change of the administrator. Therefore, such a re-registration should be carried out in two steps.
Step 7
Transfer the domain to the new administrator at the current registrar (as described in the fifth step), after which he will handle the transfer. Or carry out the transfer to another registrar yourself, and after 30 days, re-register it. In any case, either you or the host will have to enter into an agreement with two registrars.
