Banners are used as one of the advertising tools on the website pages of the Internet resources you need. The very operation of inserting the HTML-code of the banner into the source of the page is not particularly difficult.

Step 1
If you received a banner from any web resource that is professionally engaged in buying and selling traffic, then the task comes down to simple copy and paste operations. These banner advertising partners (online directories, affiliate programs, counters, etc.) usually provide a ready-made code, which includes your ID to account for the incoming traffic.
If there is no ready-made HTML code, you will have to compose it yourself. First, open any text editor and create a new document. Enter the following HTML-code tags into it:

Step 2
In some cases, the affiliates whose banner you are hosting store the graphics on their own site, using them to count the number of downloads. In this case, you do not need to upload the image itself to your server and you can skip this step. Otherwise, use the file manager of your hosting company or content management system to upload the file to the site. You can also use the FTP client resident program for this.
Step 3
Now the code prepared in the first step must be inserted into the source of the desired page. You can do this by opening it in the CMS page editor and switching to HTML-code editing mode. Or you can download the page to your computer and open it using the same text editor. Find the place in the HTML code where you want to see the banner and paste the prepared code there. Then save the modified page. If editing was done using a text editor, then upload the page back to the server.
