Almost all sites today are created using content management systems - CMS. But there are still programmers who create web pages by hand directly in the HTML markup language. Do you want to become one of them?

Instructions

Step 1

Use a text-only text editor to edit html files. Save the results in Unicode encoding - then you will not have problems with placing Cyrillic, Latin letters with umlauts, as well as symbols of mathematical and physical symbols and Greek letters on the same page at the same time.

Step 2

Name all files with the extension ".html" (without quotes). In these names, only Latin letters, numbers, underscores and hyphens can be used, but in no case other punctuation marks (except for the period separating the name and the extension) and spaces.

Step 3

Be sure to save the home page of the site to a file called "index.html" (without quotes). Place this file in your hosting root folder. It is its content that a site visitor will see by entering his URL into the address bar of the browser without additional parameters. Place the rest of the page and image files in the same folder.

Step 4

In each file, pre-arrange the start and end blocks. Arrange them as shown in the figure. In the last line of the initial QC block - the hexadecimal value of the brightness of the red component of the background color from 00 to FF, ЗЗ - the same for the green component, CC - the same for the blue component.

Step 5

Place the content of the page between the start and end blocks.

Step 6

Remember the road signs with the designation of settlements. If the sign simply has a name written on it, it means that it is located at the entrance to the settlement with that name. If the name is crossed out, then the sign is located at the exit from it. In a tag, the fraction sign in front of the command acts as a line across a road sign. The action of the "opening" tag is terminated when the "closing" tag with the same command is encountered later in the text.

Step 7

To start a paragraph, use the tag shown in the picture to the left. To have a one-line indent before the paragraph, use the tag shown in the figure to the right.

Step 8

To highlight text in italics and bold, use the tags and their combinations shown in the figure.

Step 9

To change the size and color of the font, use the command shown in the figure above, where the CC, ZZ and SS values are defined in the same way as for the background color, HIGH is the font height in points. The color or font tags can be omitted if only the size or only the color of the font changes. To cancel this command, use the tag shown in the picture below.

Step 10

To insert into the page an image stored locally in the root folder, use the construction shown in the figure above. To insert an image stored on another server, use a slightly different design, shown in the figure below. Do not insert images from third-party sites without the consent of the authors. Some sites are protected against this use of images.

Step 11

To insert into a page a link to another, stored locally in the root folder, use the structure shown in the figure above. To link to a page located on a third-party site, modify this structure as shown in the figure below.

Step 12

Search the web for a tutorial on the HTML markup language, and you will learn how to use the rest of the tags, of which there are several dozen in that language.
