Instructions

Step 1

Make sure JavaScript is enabled in your browser. Go to the official website of JSC Russian Railways. Find the link “Schedule, availability, purchase of tickets” in the upper left corner of the page. Click on it.

Step 2

When the new page loads, enter the name of the departure point in the left field of the form, and the name of the destination in the right field. Some of them can be called automatically by clicking on the corresponding link. To swap them, click the button with two arrows pointing in different directions. There is another button under them - to call the virtual keyboard. It does not work in all browsers.

Step 3

Check or uncheck the boxes next to the steam locomotive and electric locomotive images. The first of these checkboxes turns on the search mode for long-distance trains, the second - for electric trains. When they are turned on at the same time, both trains are searched for.

Step 4

If you decide to buy a ticket in both directions, check the box to the left of the word "Back". The corresponding date input field will become active.

Step 5

In the date input field after the word "There", enter the departure date in the following format: two digits of a number, a point, two digits of a month, a period, four digits of a year. You can also click the calendar button in this field. When it appears, select the month and day in it manually.

Step 6

If there is a check mark to the left of the word "Return", enter the departure date of the return train in the same way.

Step 7

Uncheck the box "Only with tickets" if you are also interested in those trains for which tickets are sold out (for example, you are going to meet someone).

Step 8

Click the “Buy ticket” button (when you uncheck the box “Only with tickets”, it automatically turns into “Schedule”). Soon, information about all trains and their tickets that meet the criteria you specified will be loaded. Browsing may slow down while loading this data.
