Step 1
First of all, check if all cables are connected to the computer, as a common cause of internet failure is a lack of physical connection. If everything is in order, then you need to check in the operating system. Go to "My Computer". Then go to the "Network Neighborhood" tab. This item displays all the connections that are available on the personal computer.
Step 2
For example, you have a Beeline modem. Information about the connected modem will be displayed in Network Neighborhood. And if the connection is active, something like "Enabled" or "Active" will be written. You can also use the "Task Manager", which displays in real time all processes running on the computer, as well as all active connections and transmission speed. Press the Alt + Ctrl + Delete keyboard shortcut.
Step 3
A small window will appear in front of you, in which there will be a list of running processes. Go to the "Network" tab. A graph will appear showing all connections made to the computer. Below is the connection speed at the time of use.

For a more visual display of the connection speed, as well as viewing all traffic, special software is used, that is, Firewall. You can always view the traffic count, both outgoing and incoming. It is also worth noting that these utilities block all unwanted connections made on the computer through browsers or other programs for working with the Internet. Additionally, use antivirus software to protect your PC from malware. As a rule, both antivirus and firewall are used for reliable protection.
