Remote access to the desktop allows the system administrator, without leaving his computer, to correct errors in the work of other computers. An interesting feature of remote access is the simultaneous display of the actions being performed, both on the computer of the system administrator and on the computer of another network user. For operating systems of the Linux family, the VncViewer program is used, and for the Windows family, the Terminal Server Client program is used.

Step 1
Before controlling your computer using Remote Desktop, you must enable this mode. There is an Applications menu in the admin panel, select Preferences, then select Remote Desktop. You will see a window with the settings for the "Access" and "Security" elements.

Remote desktop access can be obtained in several ways:
- let other users see your desktop;
- let other users control your desktop.
Therefore, it is worth setting the following security settings: when a user tries to view your desktop or wants to try to control your desk, check the box next to "Ask for confirmation" and "Require the user to enter the next password." You must enter your password in the text box.

When setting those values of the settings of the remote desktop, which are indicated above, the administrator gets will in his actions. At the same time, the user can contact the administrator if he knows the password. This method can facilitate the work of the system administrator, because each user can point out the problem that has happened via the remote desktop.
