The computer stores a large variety of games that are installed on the hard drive. But how do you uninstall a specific game that was downloaded from the Internet and installed on a local drive?

Step 1
All operations are quite simple. The game is uninstalled in the operating system from the Add or Remove Programs menu. It doesn't matter if the game is downloaded from the Internet or installed from a special disc or information carrier. To remove programs or games on a personal computer, you must have administrator rights. If you do not have such access, then create a new account.
Step 2
Go to "My Computer". Next, on the left side, select the "Add or Remove Programs" tab. You will see a list of all programs and games that are installed on the system. If the list is quite long, the system will load it for a while, so you have to wait. Select the game you want to delete from your computer from the list and click the Delete button.
Step 3
You can delete the game in another way. On the desktop, find the shortcut that launches this game. Right-click on it and select the "Properties" button. Then click "Find Object". The folder in which the game is located will appear. Delete all content as well as the desktop shortcut. However, this method cannot guarantee that all files will be completely deleted from the hard disk.
Step 4
There is also special software to remove files and programs. Search the Internet for the Cclearner program. Install to a local drive on your computer. Launch the program using the shortcut on the desktop. Select the programs or games you want to remove from your computer. Click the Delete Selected Files button. Wait a while for the program to complete the operation. When finished, restart your personal computer. You can also use this utility to clear temporary files from your hard drive.
