If you cannot log into your email account, it may well be that the mail service has problems. However, if only you have problems, and the rest of the site works fine, then most likely your mailbox has been hacked.
Instructions
Step 1
Try using the standard password recovery tool. For example, in order to restore access to the mail service Mail.ru, enter the main page of the site and click the link "Forgot your password?" in the mail login window.
Step 2
Then you will be taken to the "Password recovery" page. Enter your username in the window that opens and click "Next". The system will prompt you to answer a secret question or choose something else, depending on what you wrote when registering your mailbox.
Step 3
If you answered the question correctly or entered your mobile phone number correctly, then you will be taken to the next window, where instructions are written on your further steps to restore access to your e-mail. If you answered incorrectly to your security questions, this method will not help you.
Step 4
In this case, enter the main page of the site again and select the "Password recovery" option. Re-enter your username, click "Next". After that, fill out the form for a request to the service support service and follow the specified link.
Step 5
A window for restoring access will open, where you will have to specify the same information as when registering a mailbox, as well as an additional contact e-mail, where a letter from the technical support service should come. You should write an answer within three working days. If you specify a contact e-mail on Mail.ru, then the answer will come faster.
