Easter Eggs in Grand Theft Auto 4: Infernal Swing
Grand Theft Auto 4, like the previous parts of this game, is replete with various pleasant Easter eggs, references to previous parts, as well as various secrets. One of the secrets is the so-called "Hell swing". To see this "Hell Swing" firsthand, the player needs to go to the Broker area, namely to Firefly Projects Street.
By themselves, the swing looks like an ordinary swing, with the exception of one "but". The player can activate these swings by simply walking close to them or driving up to them in a car. As soon as the main character stops, the most interesting thing will begin - if the player did not drive up by car, but approached, he would be thrown to the side at high speed and he would be smashed. If you drive up in a car, then the swing will also push it to the side at high speed.
It is worth noting that the swing can throw the car to the other end of the map, and in this case, the main character will fly out of the car and, of course, crash. Unfortunately, it is still not clear whether these swings are the intention of the game developers themselves, or whether they are nothing more than a bug. The swing itself can be seen literally from the beginning of the game, after the first mission, where the main character comes to Liberty City and goes to his own house.
It is believed that this "Hell Swing" is not the only one in Liberty City. There are others that can be found at the very top of the map. To find them, the player should go to Bohan, in the Northern Gardens area. Here, in one of the alleys, there is exactly the same swing.
It is worth noting that if you downloaded and installed the latest patches (updates), then this swing will not work (the developers have fixed this bug). In this case, the only swing that you can use is located in the Broker area, which was mentioned earlier. To use them, you also need to either come close or drive up by car, after which they will throw you to the other side of the city.
