When changing an e-mail box, the user has to change the e-mail on all sites where he is registered. Sometimes the column where you need to enter the updated data is not easy to find. Of course, on the Vkontakte resource, you will also need to change your email.
Instructions
Step 1
In order to change your mailbox, go to your Vkontakte page. Left-click on the link "My settings", which is in the menu on the left. After you have followed the link, you will be presented with additional settings, where you can enter a new email address.
Step 2
Move the page down or scroll with the mouse roller. You will see one of the additional options "Change Primary Email". It is with him that you have to work.
Step 3
Enter your new email address in the "New e-mail" line, and then click the "Change e-mail" button. After that, a confirmation letter about the change of email will be sent to both of your mails. The Vkontakte system will notify you of this after the data reaches the server.
Step 4
Now you need to go to the old mailbox that you originally used to work with the site, find a letter from the Vkontakte administration and open it. The letter will say about the need to confirm the desire to change mail. This was done so that an attacker who got hold of your password could not completely take over your page. In order to confirm the change of the mailbox, follow the link indicated in the letter.
Step 5
After you have followed the link, the system will notify you that the activation code from your former mailbox has been accepted, and now it remains to wait for the activation code from the new email.
Step 6
In order to confirm the last code, go to your new mail, which you specified in the settings. There you will also see a letter from the Vkontakte administration, which you will need to open. To complete the change of the mailbox, follow the link indicated in the letter again. You have now entered the last required code.
Step 7
After you follow the link, the system will inform you that your e-mail has been successfully changed. Now you can enter the site using the new data.
