Any of the modern engines for creating a website (CMS) provides the opportunity to blog both the administrator and other users of the site. But not all projects need blogs, then you just need to turn them off.
Instructions
Step 1
How to disable blogs in Joomla: go to the engine administration panel by going to the address like "www.your_site / administrator" and entering the data specified during the Joomla installation. Hover over the Extensions menu at the top of the screen and select Components from the drop-down list.
Step 2
In the window that opens, find the "Blog" component (or something similar, for example IDOBlog), check the box next to this item, then click the "Delete Selected" button in the toolbar. If you do not want to remove this component, click on the checkmark icon opposite the Blog component, the checkmark should change to a cross, which means that this component is simply disabled and will not be displayed on the site.
Step 3
To disable the "Blog" component on the Instant CMS engine, go to the administration panel, to do this, type the address of your site in the address bar of the browser, log in as an administrator by entering the login and password specified when installing the engine (by default, the login is admin, you can change it in the admin panel). At the top of the screen, click on the "Admin" button.
Step 4
Select Components from the menu bar. You will see a list of components installed on the site, find the component "Blogs" and tick it. To disable all blogs on the site, click on the "green checkmark" icon, it will change to a "red cross".
Step 5
To disable a specific blog, click on the "Blogs" component itself, then on the "List of blogs" button. Next, mark the blog you want to delete. To remove it, click on the "Remove Selected" button. If you want to delete several blogs at a time, mark several unnecessary blogs at once (by putting a checkmark in front of them), then click on the "Delete selected" button, which is located just above the field with the list of blogs.
