The well-known and famous Russian portal mail.ru gained its popularity not only with its own e-mail and social network, but also with a developed search engine. It is thanks to this function that on mail.ru you can not only find the site the user needs, but also analyze it.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the Internet through any of the browsers - Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari or any other. At the top of the program window, find the website search bar and enter the mail.ru URL into it. The same address can be entered in the search bar of the browser you are using. Only in the second case, additionally click on the icon of the official website mail.ru.
Step 2
After the mail.ru portal opens, you will see its interface, made in white and blue tones. In the upper central part of the main page, find the search box mail.ru. There should be a blinking cursor at the beginning of this line. If you don't find it, click once on the search box and it will appear. If necessary, switch the used language from Russian to English. The RU flag at the bottom right of your screen should change to ENG.
Step 3
In the search box mail.ru enter the name or address of the site you want to find. After confirming the input by pressing the Enter button, you will see a list of top sites for your request. The official website will most often be located in the first position of the list. If you enter the name of the site in any order, then its official resource may not be the first in the list.
Step 4
The necessary information for analyzing the found site can be obtained using the top.mail.ru service. To do this, simply search for it using the specified web address and enter the URL or site name in the top center search term. The same information can be obtained by clicking on the special icons located on each site rated in the mail.ru portal.
Step 5
Do not forget that the mail.ru portal has its own specifics of sorting sites when displaying search query results. Therefore, the search capabilities for the required web resource mail.ru are somewhat more modest than the more well-known and popular Yandex and Google.
