YouTube username is one of the main characteristics that characterizes you and your channel in general. Changing your username is very problematic if you are not connected with a Google+ account.

Step 1
The first thing you can do to change your username is to delete your account. This method is acceptable for beginners who have not yet acquired a decent number of subscribers. Most people are not satisfied with this method, since the channel contains videos with a large number of views, from which direct income to the channel user goes. If you are still going to delete the channel, then go to the "Settings" section. In the Browse box, select the Advanced tab. Then click on the link "Close account". After that, going to the site again, you will be prompted to create a new account. In this case, you can choose absolutely any username. Think carefully before making your final choice. Permanent deletion and creation of new accounts is not the most rational way to change your name.

The second and more humane way is to change the "Name" field. Go to "YouTube Settings", then "Edit Profile". This will take you to your Google+ account. Your username will be displayed in the upper left corner of the site, you must click on it. Further, the matter remains small. Just change the current name to the one you want. The "Save" and "Change Name" windows will appear sequentially. Agree to the proposed terms. When you go to YouTube, your username will automatically change to a new one.

The next method is the simplest. Go to "Control Panel" and click "Channel Settings". In the "Advanced" section, you will see various information about the channel. Find the name of the channel and click "Edit". Now just enter what you want to see in the title.

You can also change your username using accounts on sites such as Google+ or Gmail. Log in to YouTube using your Google+ account information. Go to "Control Panel" and click "Channel Settings". In the Advanced section, you will see various information about the channel. Next, you will see the "Return Username" section. Click on this item and enter the desired username. Then follow the YouTube instructions. Accept all agreements and confirm the new channel changes. Next, click "Create Username". Remember that the name you have chosen can no longer be changed. If you still want to change your username, you will need to create a new Google+ post.
