Facebook is one of the most famous social networks in the world, which offers the user many functions for managing account settings. For example, after creating an account, you can change your display name through the resource menu item.
Instructions
Step 1
Open your browser and go to the Facebook site. To do this, you can use the address bar of the program or the "Favorites" section if the site has been saved in your bookmarks.

Sign in to your account. To do this, enter your E-mail and password to access your account in the form that appears on the page, and then click "Login". If all the data was entered correctly, you will be redirected to your personal page. If you are unable to log in, use the password recovery procedure through the "Forgot your password" menu.

Changing the username on the server can be done only once, and therefore, first determine which nickname is most suitable for you, since there will be no repeated opportunity to change the display name.

Once you've come up with a name for your account, click on the gear-shaped settings icon located at the top right of your Facebook page. In the context menu that appears, select "Account Settings".

On the new page you will see a list of parameters that can be changed. Click on the General link on the left side of the window. In the list of offered options, you can select "Username". Click on the "Edit" button, which is located on the right.

Enter the name you want to change your current account name to. After completing the input, click on the "Save changes" button to apply the data entered in the parameters. The username change for Facebook is now complete and your new username will now be displayed in your Timeline.

If you do not see that the changes have been applied, try to sign in to your page again. To do this, move the mouse cursor to the upper left corner of your account icon and select "Sign Out". Then enter your username and password again in the appropriate fields on the page and click "Login". Setting up your Facebook username is now complete.
