Services called video hosting allow viewers to view video content directly in their browser without downloading it to their computer's hard drive (apart from creating a temporary copy in the cache). The video hosting player can be embedded as an object on a web page, and then the video can be viewed directly on it.
Instructions
Step 1
Install the latest version of the Flash Player plug-in on your computer if you have not already done so.
Step 2
If you want to place on the page video material that is already available on a particular video hosting, go to the page of this material, make sure that it does not violate anyone's copyright and related rights, as well as the rights to the image of a citizen, and then find the link on this page or a button called "Share" or similar. A number of other buttons will appear. Look among them with the name "Generate HTML Code" or something similar. If the user has not prohibited embedding the movie, a field with a code snippet will appear on the page shortly. This fragment will be already selected, and it will be enough to copy it to the clipboard by pressing Ctrl-C (Latin letter C). If the scripts do not work correctly in your browser, you will first have to select the code fragment by pressing Ctrl-A (the letter A is also Latin), and only then copy it, as indicated above.
Step 3
Go to the editor where the HTML page you are editing is open. Place the cursor in the desired place in the code, and then paste the fragment from the clipboard into it by pressing Ctrl-V. Save the page, then load it in your browser and check if you can embed the video.
Step 4
If you decide to place your own video material on the page, first make sure that it does not violate anyone's copyright and related rights, as well as the rights to the image of a citizen. Then register on one or another video hosting (for example, YouTube, RuTube), if this has not been done before. Find out in the help section about which video formats are supported by this video hosting. Convert the video to one of these formats, if necessary. Log in to the hosting using your username and password. If you haven't created a channel yet, create one. Go to the section that allows you to add videos (it may have different names, for example, on YouTube - "Add Video"). Click the Browse button or similar and then select the file you want to add.
Step 5
If you select bambuser as a video hosting system, install the client application of this service on your smartphone, in the settings of this application, set the Save on server value to Yes, and the Visibility field to Public. enter your username and password into the program, shoot the video with your phone camera, and then close the application. Viewers will be able to watch the video both right during the filming process and after it is completed.
Step 6
Get the video embed link from a video hosting site, as described above, and place it in the desired place on your page. Please note that only those users on whose computers the Flash Player plugin is installed, the version of which is supported by the video hosting, will be able to view it.
