The term "virtual reality" is sometimes used in the meaning of electronic reality, artificial, created with the help of various technical means. This is also a whole world that a person can get to know through smell, touch, hearing, sight and other senses.

A person in such a room can turn his head, examine different sides of the picture. Special tracking systems record exactly where the user is looking and adjust the image accordingly.
Rounding off the impression is a multi-channel stereo system that gives the impression of surround sound, as it happens in the real world. And for tactile sensations, special suits with feedback were invented. In them, micromotors are capable of imparting this or that pressure to various parts of the body, which simulates contact with the environment.
Virtual reality applications
This system has very great prospects, so it is being developed very quickly. Today we have already learned:

- virtual reality helps to diagnose and train surgical operations;
- the system is used in cinema to create special special effects;
- the entertainment industry stands alone, when virtual reality is part of the gameplay.

For better contact with him, gloves, costumes, virtual helmets, glasses, gaming devices were invented.
