Ordinary paper letters take a long time, waiting for an answer makes you nervous, missing information slows things down. Nowadays, time is precious, retro-correspondence is going out of fashion, being replaced by the rapid exchange of information via the Internet. If you and your addressee have mail on the Internet, you can take advantage of this blessing of civilization.
Necessary
- - Computer;
- - Internet connection.
Instructions
Step 1
E-mail allows you to exchange letters over the Internet. This service is available on all major information portals (Yandex, Mail, Rambler, Google, etc.). You can create your email account on any of them by registering. The registration form is usually located next to the login form in the mail. You need to left-click on the line: "Registration in the mail" or "Create a mailbox".
Step 2
A registration form will open, in which you must specify all the necessary data: last name, first name, date of birth, gender, place on the map, in addition, you come up with your login (that is, the name of the box) and password to it (only you know it, you need it in order to protect your mail from intrusions). If the login you have chosen is already taken, then you will be automatically selected options. If the password is not strong enough, the system will tell you that it needs to be changed. In addition, the registration form contains special questions, the answers to which you must remember: it will come in handy when you forget your password. You can also use your phone to recover your password, but if you do not want to specify it, you will use a secret question. At the end of registration, indicate numbers or letters that are depicted in a distorted form: the system identifies you as a person, and not as a machine for automatic registration and sending spam. The final touch: click the Register My Account button.
Step 3
Let's move on to writing a letter. In any e-mail box there is a button "Write a letter". Find and click. A form for writing a letter will open.
Step 4
In the top line, indicate the address to which you are writing. Below is the subject, so the addressee, when checking the mail, will immediately understand what the letter is about. The largest field is for typing the text of the message. If you wish, you can design the letter (choose a background, format the text, attach a link, etc.). If you need to send a file (music, text document, image), use the "Attach" button. When you click on it, an overview of files on your computer opens, select what interests you and click "Open" in the dialog box. The file will be attached to the letter. You can save a copy of the letter to be sent - "Save as draft" in order to change or supplement in the future. If you think the email is ready, click "Send". Ideally, the letter arrives at the addressee within a few seconds.
