The interface of the popular social network Facebook allows you to perform a large number of operations to find and add the right people, exchange records and communicate. The list of functions of the resource also includes the removal of contacts added to the list.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to your account by opening Facebook in a browser window and entering your username and password. After logging in, go to the home page and select the "Friends" section.
Step 2
In the list that appears, find the contact you want to remove from your account. To search for the name of a specific person, you can use the search bar on the page in the upper right corner.
Step 3
Go to your friend's profile page. In the lower right part of the window you will see the "Friends" icon, on which you need to click the left mouse button. In the context menu that appears, click on the "Delete" item and confirm the operation. The removal of a friend from the contact list is complete.
Step 4
In addition to removing a friend from the list of contacts, you can simply block updates on his page that are displayed in your news. To do this, go to the news feed on your account page and click on the down arrow icon next to any of your friend's posts.
Step 5
In the menu item that appears, select the "Hide" section to exclude the display of the record in the tape. In the list of options that appears, specify which records of this person you want to remove using the corresponding option on the screen.
Step 6
To disable all posts posted by a user, you can go to his page and click on the "Friends" button. In the drop-down list, uncheck the box "Show in the ribbon". By removing this item, you will no longer receive notifications from your friend in the news feed.
