Step 1
Usually proxy servers are created and configured using special utilities. Download the 3proxy program and install it on your computer. Now find the 3proxy.cfg file in the unpacked archive. You will do the main work with him. Open this file using Notepad or WordPad (you can use another available text editor).
Step 2
You must have a computer connected to the Internet and a network hub. The rest of the PCs must be connected to the last device, which should gain access to the network. Go back to your "config" and enter the internal IP address of the network adapter connected to the hub. To do this, write the line internal 192.168.0.1.
Step 3
Enter the external IP address given to you by your ISP. You can view it by clicking the "Details" button in the Internet connection menu. Enter the command external 200.180.151.121. The numbers indicate the IP address you are looking for.
Step 4
If you know the addresses of the DNS servers that your ISP uses, then enter their values into the file. This data can be found in the above menu. The command will look like this: nserver 223.163.101.15. After that, enter the command ncashe and put in front of it a sufficiently large number, which is a power of 2.
Step 5
Now enter the IP addresses of the computers that need to access the internet. They must be entered separated by commas, having previously registered the allow command. Save changes to the file and run the program. Remember that you may need to replace some parameters. If you are given a different IP address, enter a new value, replacing the string external 200.180.151.121. Use internal IP addresses that differ only in the last segment. This will speed up the processing of the data by the program.
