It is used for storing, processing, analyzing and issuing information and also includes personnel who ensure its performance and operation. An information system can be created at any level and can be used both at the state level and at the enterprise level.

Step 1
Start building your information system with a pre-project survey. Conduct a preliminary collection of materials for design. Analyze the goals that are in front of you and the tasks that the information system should solve, formulate the requirements for it. Study the automation object, select and develop options for the information system concept.

Study and analyze the collected materials, develop technical documentation governing the created information system. Create and approve a feasibility study, develop and approve the design specification.
Step 3
At the preliminary design stage, consider the existing design solutions for all aspects of the development of the information system, select the optimal ones. Determine the composition of all components and describe them in detail. Develop, complete and approve a technical project.
Step 4
Conduct detailed design. Select and develop the used mathematical methods and algorithms of programs, think over the structure of the databases. Prepare documentation, contracts for the development and installation of software products. Consider developer training and support and software updates. Together with the developers, select the set of technical means necessary for solving your problems, develop documents for their delivery and installation.
Step 5
Get and install the hardware, test and fine-tune the software, get and install the final version. Develop operating instructions for the information system both for the administrator and programmers and for the personnel who will ensure the operation of the information system. Write job descriptions for staff.
Step 6
Put the information system into trial operation, test the operation of hardware and software. Train personnel, provide them with certification confirming their admission to work and the corresponding qualifications. Conduct production tests of the operation of the entire information system and all its components as a whole. Put the system into operation by signing all the necessary documents, acceptance certificates.
