In the process of editing and cleaning a mailbox, people sometimes inadvertently delete important and valuable emails that did not have a copy and duplicate. What if you deleted important email by mistake? Let's look at the example of Microsoft Outlook, how to recover deleted messages in the mail client.
Instructions
Step 1
If you have a new version of Outlook (2010), open the folder from which you deleted emails - "Inbox" or "Deleted Items". Open the Folder tab and select "Recover", which will open a list of recoverable documents that the program retrieves from the server. Check which letters you want to return to the client, and then click Convert.
The letters will be restored.
Step 2
In the case of the old version of the program (2007), you also need to open the Inbox or Deleted Items folder, depending on where the letters were stored. Open the Tools section and select Recover deleted items. Then, just as in the above case, in the window that appears, select the letters to recover and click Convert.
Step 3
Older versions of Microsoft Outlook do not have the convenience of data recovery as newer versions. If you have Outlook 2003 installed, you will have to go to the registry (Start> Run> regedit).
Open the following path in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SOFTWARE / Microsoft / Exchange / Client / Options
Open the Edit menu and click Add Value. Create a new DWORD parameter with the value 1. After that, the data recovery function will appear in your mail client.
