The citation index value, which is calculated by Yandex systems for the entire site, depends on the number of links to this site from other resources, as well as on how weighty these links are and how authoritative the sources linking to the site are. In addition, the site that gives a link to your resource must correspond to it in terms of subject matter.

The more similar the sites on the subject, one of which links to another, the higher the citation index will be. Links that are taken into account in the TIC should be not only thematic, but also open - they should not be under the noindex and nofollow tags. In addition, the site that links to you must have its own TIC value at least higher than 10. If the site's TIC is zero, the link will have little effect on your own TIC.
