For using e-mail, there are a large number of different services that offer convenient means for viewing messages. You can also read mail using special programs for e-mail, which allow synchronization with the mail service.
Instructions
Step 1
To read messages on the mail service from your computer, open a browser window. You can use any program for browsing the Internet that is installed on your computer.
Step 2
Go to the site where your mailbox is registered. If you have forgotten the name of your e-mail service, you can refer to your e-mail address. The sequence of characters after the @ sign corresponds to the address of the e-mail server. For example, if your address is of the form [email protected], the mail server will be yandex.ru. To go to it, enter this address in the address bar of your browser.
Step 3
In the form that appears on the page, enter your username and password. If there is no form for entering such data, use the "Mail" section, which should be available in the browser window. Click on the "Login" button to go to your account.
Step 4
If all the data has been entered correctly, you will be taken to the message viewing page. Click on the "Inbox" link on the left side of the window. A list of letters available for reading will be displayed in the central part of the page. To open any of them and read, just left-click on the desired line.
Step 5
You can also use third-party programs to read messages - The Bat !, Outlook, etc. Go to the official website of one of the email clients and download the latest version of the program. Then launch the installer and follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
Step 6
When the program starts, the mail server settings window will be displayed. Specify your data on the mail resource that you use to exchange e-mail, in accordance with the settings proposed on the screen. You can also add other accounts through the corresponding menu item of the selected program.
Step 7
Once the configuration is complete, click on the "Inbox" button in the program window to read the received messages.
