Step 1
Launching the program. First of all, you must run the program on your computer. You can do this using the Skype icon on your desktop. If this shortcut is not on the desktop, the program can be opened as follows: open the "Start" menu and click on the "All Programs" section in it. Find the Skype folder in the directory and hover over it. A window will pop up, clicking on which, you start the program.
Step 2
If you do not have automatic user authorization configured when starting the program, enter your Skype username and password in the fields that you will see at the first stage of the download. After you enter your data, if they are entered correctly, the program interface will be launched. Now you can view your chat history.
Step 3
Find in the list of your contact the login of the person whose message history you would like to see. Click on it with the right mouse button, then select the "View old messages" option. A new window will open in which you will see all the previous dialogs with the user.
Step 4
If you wish, you can delete the history at any time. To do this, go to the program tools and go to the "Settings" tab. Next, you need to switch to the "Chats and SMS" section and open additional settings. Using the appropriate commands in the window that opens, you can delete the history of previous correspondence with users.
