The social network VKontakte is very popular. At the moment, more than 250 million users are registered in it, each of which has a separate id.
Instructions
Step 1
A new user of the VKontakte social network at the time of registration is automatically assigned a unique digital identifier, or id. It corresponds to the ordinal number of the created account on the site.
Step 2
To find out your id, first of all, log into your account on the VKontakte social network. To do this, on the main page of the vk.com website, enter your username and password. Then click on the "Login" button. Your news feed will open in front of you, consisting mainly of publications on the walls of your friends on the social network. On the left side of the site page, you will see the task menu. Select the item "My Page" and click on it with the left mouse button. This will take you to the tab with your personal data.
Step 3
Look at the email address listed in the address bar of your browser. The first part of it should look like this: "https://vk.com/id". This is usually followed by several numbers. They are your VKontakte id.
Step 4
The address of the page on the social network can be changed. For example, after the obligatory part "https://vk.com/", you can enter your surname and initials in Latin letters or choose a phrase that, in your opinion, may be associated with you or your VKontakte page. The new alphabetic identifier must be unique, since site functionality will not allow saving the new page address if another user is already using it. Therefore, it is often impossible to come up with a verbal code the first time. After changing the id, your page will be available at both the new and the old email address.
Step 5
If you previously changed the address of your page, and now your id is not visible in the address bar, you can find out your unique identifier in another way. On the left in the menu of your account, select the item "My settings" and click on it with the left mouse button. In the window that opens, in the "General" tab, find the subheading "Your page address". The line “Page number” will contain several numbers. They are the permanent id of your account on the VKontakte social network.
Step 6
Knowing your identification number, you can send your friends direct links to your VKontakte page. This way, your friends will not be forced to look for you by name. This is especially true for users whose name on the social network does not correspond to real data or for people with common surnames, because it will be difficult to find them among the many people with the same names.
