Step 1
Call the context menu of the "My Computer" section by right-clicking on it. Open the "Properties" menu item. In the window that appears, go to the "Remote sessions" tab and in the menu for remote control of your desktop, uncheck the item "Allow remote access to this computer". Apply and save your changes.
Step 2
Disable remote access to your computer by modifying local group policies. To do this, in the Run utility, type “gpedit.msc” and press the Enter key. In the window that appears on your screen, go to the computer configuration menu and open the "Administrative Templates" item in the Group Policy Editor for Computer Usage.
Step 3
In the components of the Windows operating system, open the Terminal Services menu and double-click the "Allow remote connection using Terminal Services" item, and then apply the "Enabled" option for it. Confirm the changes. Navigate to the Administrative Tools menu in your computer's control panel.
Step 4
In the menu that appears, open the setting available from the link with the name "Routing and Remote Access". In remote access clients (section "Where?") Open the menu "Server name" and "Remote access clients". Disconnect from the context menu. Reboot your computer.
Step 5
Please note if any programs for providing remote access are installed on your computer, for example, Radmin or its analogues. To do this, go to the Add / Remove Programs menu and check its presence in the list. To disable remote access, it is best to uninstall the program or block its operation with a firewall or other security means provided on your computer.
