Users of a high-speed dedicated internet connection, especially gamers, occasionally need to find out the IP of the server. The Internet Protocol Address, abbreviated as IP, is displayed as four numbers from 0 to 255 separated by periods, for example, 2.94.172.20.
Instructions
Step 1
Click the Start button if you are using Windows. Find and click the "Run" command. A gray window will appear. Type "cmd" to display the command line in a black window. Using the keyboard, type "ping" and next to the address of the site whose server IP you want to find out. Press "Enter" and study the result.
Step 2
Use a similar method to get not only the IP, but also the port of the game server. To do this, first go into the game and minimize its window. Click the "Start" button, the "Run" command, type "cmd" and "Enter" from the keyboard. In the command line that appears, type "netstat" and press the enter key again. Get a column of numbers, the first of which on each row is IP, and the second is the active port number. All currently existing connections will be displayed.

Download special programs such as L2Dat_EncDec or L2 FileEdit. To download, specify the path to the "System" folder first. Select L2encdecTools in the menu, then Set INI files and 2.ini. The content of this file is the information you need. Here, under the ServerAddr code, the server IP is contained. When loading the second program, the algorithm is somewhat different. Click in the opened window "Open and decrypt". In the System folder, select the l2.ini file. And here is the information you need.
