Since the launch of the Vkontakte social network in 2006, the registration rules have changed several times. However, the main innovation is that now you do not need an email address to register, just a mobile phone number.

Step 1
Go to the site of the social network "VKontakte" and click on the "Register" button located at the top left of the page. A form with two empty fields will appear on the screen, where you need to enter your first name, last name and gender. Although the site recommends registering under your real name and surname, you can use any pseudonym you like.
Step 2
At the next stage, you will be asked to find your classmates and classmates. To search for classmates, enter the name of the country, city, school number and class where you studied in the corresponding lines. To find former classmates, you will need to provide information about the country, city, institution, year of graduation, and faculty. This step is optional, and you can go straight to the completion of registration by clicking the "Skip" button.
Step 3
To complete the creation of a VKontakte profile, you must specify a mobile phone number. This number must not be assigned to an existing user, otherwise your registration will be refused. Linking to a phone number is necessary both for additional protection of your account from hacking, and as a measure to deter the emergence of fake accounts. An SMS with a code will be sent to the number you specified, which must be entered in the appropriate line. If within a few minutes you have not received the message, click on the "I have not received the code" button and it will be sent to you again. Subsequently, the phone number specified during registration can be used as a login when entering the network. After entering the code, you will be taken to the page of your Vkontakte account, where you can fill in the main sections of the profile and set the access settings to it. After that, you can take advantage of all the features of the social network.
