Reviews of AliExpress customers living in Crimea are increasingly appearing on the Internet. Some are denied the delivery of goods to Crimea, and then Aliexpress stopped accepting online payments for orders that had to be sent to Crimea and neighboring cities altogether.
Today, the AliExpress online store officially declares that the problem of entering Crimean addresses into the service has been completely resolved. And buyers receive their orders regularly and on time. But the desired is not always valid. Therefore, residents of Crimea have to look for additional opportunities to place an order and receive goods.
How to order goods on Aliexpress in Crimea
- Get yourself a new account on AliExpress. It should not be tied to an IP located on the territory of Crimea. To change the IP, it is enough to turn to any of the VPN services in the public domain. So you will indicate any region of residence of your choice.
- Please enter a shipping address that is different from your actual location. You can choose in Russia, for example, Krasnodar Territory, and then enter any extraneous (invalid!) Postal address.
- Place and pay for your order. Wait for payment confirmation. Now promptly send a personal message to the seller indicating your real postal address in Crimea (having written that you made a mistake and was in a hurry). The seller will meet you without any problems, especially if you promise him a positive feedback after receiving the parcel.
- Watch for the appearance of the order track number after the status opposite the product in your personal account has changed to "Sending made".
On the Internet, buyers from Crimea indicate that the AliExpress website does not check the entered postcodes in any way. At the same time, Russian post offices automatically sort the parcels according to the specified postal codes. Thus, having indicated your correct Crimean postal code in the wrong address, you can wait for the parcel at your post office (and see it by the tracked track number provided to you by the seller). According to your passport and track number, you can pick up the parcel at your department. Even if the seller sends it to a non-existent address, it must get to the location encoded in the index.
Order to the address of your friends
Ask for help from friends who could readily receive your package at an address outside the territory of Crimea. Then they only need to forward the shipment to you (for example, by cash on delivery to cover the shipping costs) or hand it over to you in person. By the way, this is also a good reason to see or at least contact old friends!
