The Webmoney system was developed in strict accordance with the requirements for the security of information exchange and money circulation via the Internet. It provides three types of user authorization: files with secret keys protected by a password; personal digital certificates and e-Num system. All transactions with funds within the system are performed in a secure mode. This makes it easier to save personal and financial information, but, unfortunately, complicates the algorithm for working with the system.

Instructions

Step 1

The use of digital certificates, in particular, provides for the storage of a special document file, encoded with a digital signature, on the hard disk of the computer, as well as, as the system advises, its duplication on a removable storage medium. But man is made like that. that it is not difficult to lose even such important files. In addition, certificates need to be renewed from time to time, and some users may not physically be able to do this, and a new digital file is stored for a very short time. Fortunately, the system has a recovery procedure.

Step 2

Log in to key.wmtransfer.com, enter your WMID number. If you don't remember your identifier, you can find it out through the enter.webmoney.ru website. Enter your date of birth. The message "New request for restoration of WMID control" will appear on the screen, and a letter with further instructions will be sent to your e-mail.

Step 3

Follow the link indicated in the letter to confirm your application. The system will ask several questions regarding personal data, for example, "Do you have access to a phone number ending in XXXX". If these are the last digits of your mobile number, click "Yes, I have access." You will receive an SMS with a 9-digit verification code. Enter this code in the appropriate field and click Continue. If the message does not come for a long time, check the condition of the sim card or press "sms not received".

Step 4

Enter the answer to your security question, such as Mother's Maiden Name. Check the box next to "I have read and agree with the rules for restoring control. I confirm that I am the owner of the WMID". Click Continue.

Step 5

If all the data is entered correctly, you will see the message "Application has been successfully submitted", as well as an additional control word that must be memorized or written down. You will receive a link to restore the certificate by email. The login password will be sent in the next letter or in the form of an SMS message.

Step 6

In most cases, the restoration goes smoothly, but sometimes a scanned application, certified by a notary, is required. If you entered your data correctly and answered the questions, then such a measure does not threaten you.
