There are a variety of reasons for blocking a mailbox: both long-term non-use of e-mail, and the desire to change the username, and hacking of the mailbox by spammers. After blocking the mailbox, you will no longer be able to use your mailings, subscriptions and mail services.

Step 1
If you are satisfied with losing all useful links, be prepared for some difficulties. After all, not every postal service makes the path to blocking mail easier. For example, if you want to block your mail in the mail.ru service, you will not find the corresponding tab in the server settings. To delete a mailbox, follow the link https://e.mail.ru/cgi-bin/delete and indicate the reason for blocking. After that, enter your password in the bottom field, and your email inbox on Mail will be blocked. Within 3 months, the login of your mail will be assigned to you and only then will it be released.
Step 2
It is not so easy to block a mailbox in the Rambler.ru service. On this server, there is no way to delete e-mail on its own. To block it and then remove it, send a letter to the Rambler technical support service using the recipient's login mailsupport and the rambler-co.ru domain name. In the message, specify the login and password of your email, as well as the fact that you want to block it. After that, administrators will have full access to your mailbox and perform the necessary procedure.
Step 3
If you want to block mail on the Yandex server, the deletion process is much easier. After logging in, log in to the Yandex-passport section. In the upper right corner of the page, click on the "Settings" link, and then on the "Delete mail" function. As soon as you enter your password in the field that appears and click on "Delete", your email address will be canceled.
Step 4
For the Google.ru service, blocking the mailbox does not present any particular problems either. Find the "Accounts" section and click on the "Account Settings" function. On the right side, find the Change function for My Services. In the window that opens, click on the link "Remove Gmail" and delete your email account.
