Videos in VKontakte groups make the community more interesting and informative. Of course, you can attach the video to a post on the group's wall, but then it will eventually be superseded by new posts and cease to be noticeable. It is better to add a useful video to the group's "Videos" - it's quite simple and convenient.
Instructions
Step 1
You can add videos to the VKontakte group not only if you are an administrator. In theory, any member of the community can do this - of course, if the videos are "open", that is, adding videos by members is not prohibited by the group administrators.
Step 2
So, in order to add a video to a group, you should open the videos of the group. At the top of the page, on the right, you will see a blue rectangular “button” that says “Add Video”. Click on it.
Step 3
You have three ways to add videos. The first one is the easiest one: add videos from videos from your page. To do this, at the bottom of the window that opens, you need to click on the inscription "Add from my videos or search." In the window that opens, you can select the videos that you have ever added to your VKontakte video archive.
Step 4
Second way. At the top of the same window there is a search bar: with its help you can select any video from all those uploaded by VKontakte. To do this, it is not necessary to add it to your page. Just enter the name of the video in this line and select the one you need from all those found by simply clicking on the icon of the desired video.
Step 5
The third way is to boot from a computer. If the video you need is stored on your computer, but has not yet been uploaded to any of the Internet hosting services, upload it to Vkontakte. To do this, by clicking on the "Add video" button, enter the title and description of the video in advance, and then click on the "Upload video" button. Please note: if you check the box next to the "Publish on the group page", the video will be added both to the "Videos" and to the "wall" of the community - so more people will notice and watch it.
